If you want to make 2 or more cups of rice, maintain the same ratio of other ingredients. You typically want to keep a 1:1. 5 or 1:2 ratio of rice to water.

The water should just cover the surface of the rice.

Fluffing rice with a fork separates the grains so there are no large clumps and the rice maintains a fluffy and light texture.

For example, for 2 cups of rice you’d use 4 cups of water, for 3 cups of rice, 6 cups of water. Make sure you have a big enough bowl.
