With the 2023 Vizio TVs, we also see Wi-Fi 6 compatibility, an updated and more responsive SmartCast smart TV platform, and more emphasis on the WatchFree channels that allow Vizio owners to stream over 250 live TV channels at no additional cost. These models also include a cool upgrade that allows you to use Bluetooth headphones with your TV so you can watch without bothering anyone around you. All of the 2023 Vizio TVs use a new ThinFrame design with incredibly thin bezels for a modern look.
We also listened to two new 2023 Vizio soundbars alongside the new TVs. The new M-Series Elevate brings the shape-shifting features of the Vizio Elevate soundbar at a more affordable price while still delivering Dolby Atmos. The M-Series All-in-One soundbar is a new option that starts at $199.99 for a slim and space-filling soundbar. Both new soundbar models allow users to control sound settings on a Vizio TV when connected via HDMI eARC.
The new Vizio 2023 TVs and soundbars are available starting in late July at retailers including Best Buy, Sam’s Club, Walmart and others.
2023 Vizio M-Series Quantum X
The 2023 Vizio M-Series Quantum X is a new model that includes an updated Vizio IQ Ultra Plus processor to deliver better-looking movies and games. This set was the star of the show when we went hands-on with the models delivering impressive colors. The new models all support Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10 and HDR10+. We were impressed with the bright and vivid colors on these models in movies and games. There is an Active Full Array backlit system with up to 32 local dimming zones, depending on the model.
The 50-inch M50QXM-K01 model is capable of 240 Hz refresh rate at 1080 pixels, and 120 Hz at 4K, allowing gamers to achieve blazing fast refresh rates and an edge over the competition. All sizes support AMD FreeSync Premium VRR, ultralow input lag, HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGiG) support and Dolby Vision auto gaming technology. A new game menu makes it easier to fine-tune the settings.
We also see support for Wi-Fi 6 on these TVs, which should deliver a better streaming performance throughout your home. Vizio includes four HDMI 2.1 ports that all support the highest refresh rates and resolutions.
The 2023 Vizio M-Series Quantum X delivers impressive value and quality for both gamers and streamers. This great option starts at $629.99 and punches well above its price. You can buy it in 50-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch sizes.
2023 Vizio M-Series Quantum 6
The new Vizio M-Series Quantum 6 is an update to the more traditional M-Series that we’ve consistently loved in the past. Starting at $349.99, these sets are in the reach of many consumers and offer an impressive image that delivers great colors and support for must-have features like AMD FreeSync VRR, HGiG and Dolby Vision auto gaming.
While we could see a difference between the 2023 M-Series (MQ6) and the M-Series Quantum X, this more affordable lineup is still a great-looking TV at a price that is hard to beat. Whether you are looking for a TV in your main room, or a great option for gaming in a kid’s room, this should be at the top of your list. These models include three HDMI 2.1 ports.
The 2023 M-Series Quantum 6 is available in 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 70-inch and 75-inch sizes.
2023 Vizio V-Series

For streaming, users will enjoy support for Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10 and HDR10+. These models support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth headphone connectivity.

Vizio’s entry-level model, the 2023 D-Series, are Full HD (FHD) with full-array backlighting, which comes in 24-inch to 43-inch sizes. These models now include the Vizio Voice Remote that arrived to other models last year and includes support for Bluetooth headphones.
These are popular for kitchens, dorm rooms and other areas where a smaller TV is a better fit. They include support for ultralow input lag, HDR gaming, auto game mode and AMD FreeSync VRR.

2023 Vizio M-Series Elevate Soundbar
The Vizio M-Series Elevate soundbar is a 5.1.2 soundbar that delivers Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio. When the soundbar detects one of these sources, the speakers on the ends automatically tilt up to bounce sound off the ceiling for more immersive sound. During music or standard surround, the speakers point forward. This is a really cool feature to witness, and the performance from this soundbar is quite impressive.
Watching Encanto with this soundbar brought us right into the movie with wraparound sound and great vocal performances. We can’t wait to test this feature out with more movies and games. If you don’t have room to place the surround speakers behind you in in your space, you can place them at the front and use virtual surround. This soundbar includes an option to connect a voice assistant of your choosing.
The 2023 M-Series Elevate is $799.99 and is available in late July.
2023 Vizio M-Series All-in-One Soundbar
The Vizio M-Series All-in-One soundbar is a new 2.1 soundbar that is low profile. This is a great possibility for a second room or to upgrade the sound in a bedroom. We liked the crisp, clear vocals this soundbar delivered and the ability for the small subwoofer to still immerse us into the movie. This connects to your TV with HDMI eARC and includes a voice assistant’s dedicated input.
The 2023 M-Series All-In-One starts at $199.99 and is available in late July.
