Each of the 32 NFL teams gets one pick in each of the seven rounds of the NFL Draft, with the order of selection being the reverse order of finish in the previous season. This format that serves as a base for all 256 (254 this year) draft picks before trades impact the selection order. For example, the Giants have 12 draft picks this year, while the Jets have only six.

The 2019 NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 25 with the first round, starting at 8 p.m. ET. Rounds 2-3 will take place Friday, April 26, starting at 7 p.m. ET, and Rounds 4-7 will take place Saturday, April 27, starting at noon ET. The entire 2019 NFL Draft will be televised live on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network. Live stream options also will be available.
